Manchester City have launched a bid to sign Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez this summer. Manchester City have been in the market for a number of new signings in January football. Having already splashed out £120m on three new signings: Omar Marmouch, Abdugodir Kuzanov and Vitor Reis.

Man City’s next target is a central midfielder. Who has been a problem since star player Rodri was seriously injured and has been linked with Juventus’ Douglas Luiz and Atalanta’s Ederson.ทางเข้า UFABET

Fabrizio Romano, a famous journalist, recently reported that. Manchester City have started to approach Nico Gonzalez. A talented midfielder from Porto, to join the team before the market closes.

Porto are reluctant to let the 23-year-old midfielder leave the club this winter unless they receive an offer they can’t refuse.

Nico Gonzalez reportedly has a €60m release clause. With his former club Barcelona set to receive 40 per cent of the fee as agreed upon when he moved to Porto in 2023.

Gonzalez has made 68 appearances for Porto in the past year and a half since joining for just €8.5m. And is currently contracted until the summer of 2028.

Seemingly in response to a dreadful November and December and the clear need for fresh energy in the squad. City have had an unusually busy mid-season transfer window. Omar Marmoush has been the highest profile arrival for the best part of £60m ($74m) from Eintracht Frankfurt. But young centre-back trio Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Juma Bah have also been recruited this month. The January spending is already at £127m ($157m).
