Juventus have announced the appointment of Damien Comolli as the club’s new general manager. Following his departure from Ligue 1 side Toulouse football.
Comolli will report directly to CEO Mauricio Scanavino and will be responsible for the men’s football, marketing and commercial affairs UFABET แทงบอล
Throughout his career, the 52-year-old Comolli has worked in a number of roles at a number of clubs. Including spells as a scout for Arsenal and as sporting director at Liverpool, Spurs, Saint-Etienne and Fenerbahce.
He was most recently president of Ligue 1 side Toulouse but resigned at the end of May to take up a role with Juventus.
“I am excited and honored to join a club with such a rich history, identity and ambitious vision.” said Comolli.
“From day one, I will dedicate my experience to Juventus, with the ultimate goal of winning, just as Juventus should be and our fans expect.”
One of the most pressing matters for the club at the Allianz Stadium is appointing a new manager.
Igor Tudor will lead the team to the Club World Cup but there is still uncertainty after that with Antonio Conte, who has been linked with a move to Napoli. And Juventus target Gian Piero Gasperini leaving Atalanta to take charge of Roma.
