Terzik reveals Modest is ready to go to Freiburg

Anthony Modest is available for Friday’s trip to Freiburg football team, Bayern coach Edin Terzic has confirmed.

Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic has confirmed. That the 34-year-old forward Anthony Modast is ready to make his debut for the Reds at home to Freiburg takes on the Bundesliga stage on Friday night. According to ‘Sport1’ on Wednesday. 

Dortmund paid almost €5m to sign a one-year contract with 34-year-old FC Cologne forward Modast on Monday. After Sebastian Alair spent months on chemotherapy to treat a testicular tumor. The French forward trained on Tuesday. And has adapted well and has the opportunity to make his debut against Freiburg on Friday. 

‘He looks fit and very hungry. And a very good option for Friday’s game’ said Tercic. ‘We hope he continues to do what he has done in the past few years. And playing a similar role for us as he did in Cologne. I don’t think it will be very difficult for him to fit into our team.’ 

The Bayern coach also said of rival Freiburg. Adding: ‘They are extremely dangerous. and effective in playing set-piece situations. They are more and more used to playing together. So it’s more flexible. We have to be prepared to deal with that and do better to take the three points home.’
